Each fall, engaged audiences, local, new, and established filmmakers, industry professionals, and special guests from around the country come together to celebrate the art and craft of short filmmaking. BEYOND features multiple blocks of short films in competition, screenings that are open to the public.
Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in industry talks, filmmaking workshops, Q&As, and experience a live table read of our winning screenplay. Now in our 9th year, BEYOND: The Cary Film Festival takes place in the heart of the Triangle, and all events occur within walking distance of our historic theater in downtown Cary, N.C.
