Visit the Box Office

If you wish to purchase tickets in advance for events at The Cary Theater, The Cary Arts Center, and Page-Walker Arts & History Center, our Box Office services are located in the main lobby of the theater (122 E. Chatham Street, Cary). Box Office hours are Wednesday through Saturday 12 p.m.– 6 p.m., Sunday 1 p.m.– 5 p.m., and one hour prior to showtimes at each respective venue.  No additional fees apply if tickets are purchased at the Box Office. The Box Office is closed on all observed Town of Cary holidays.

Purchase Tickets through Etix
  • Online: Tickets may be purchased online through etix. A $2 per ticket convenience fee will be added to the price of the ticket.
  • By Phone: Purchase tickets through the etix Phone Center by calling 1-800-514-3849 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.–8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m.–8 p.m. or Sunday, 12–8 p.m. A $2 per ticket convenience fee will be added to the price of the ticket.

Day of Show Purchase at The Cary

Tickets can be purchased directly at The Cary Theater one hour prior to each performance. No additional fees apply.

Will Call

Tickets left at Will Call may be picked up on the day of the event at The Cary Theater beginning one hour prior to the performance. Customers must show a valid photo I.D. to pick up Will Call tickets. If tickets were purchased through Etix (online or by phone), the credit card used to purchase the ticket must also be presented. For your protection, tickets will only be released to the person whose name appears on the ticket envelope. To add or change the Will Call pick-up name, contact the Box Office at (919) 462-2055.


All tickets are non-refundable. If a performance is cancelled, refunds will be processed. Those who purchased with cash or check will be mailed a refund via check. Tickets purchased with a credit card will automatically be refunded to the credit card used to purchase the tickets.


Exchanges may be allowed for performances and/or a performance series with multiple dates. Exchanges must be approved by the presenter and/or sponsor of the event(s). Original tickets must be surrendered at the time of the exchange transaction request. All approved exchanges will be processed by the Box Office Manager.

Lost or Stolen Tickets

If your tickets have been lost or stolen we encourage patrons to inform the Box Office Manager as soon as possible and to keep looking. There is no guarantee that lost or stolen tickets will be replaced, although we will make every attempt to assist you.

Reserved Seating

For some ticketed events at The Cary, seats are reserved throughout the theater. Films are general admission.

Senior Tickets

Senior tickets are for patrons aged 55+ (Senior tickets not available for all events).

Gift Cards

Gift Cards are no longer accepted for ticketed events at The Cary.
