The majority of events at The Cary Theater will be General Admission, however, some events will have reserved seating.

The Cary is located at 122 E. Chatham St. in Cary, near the intersection of Academy and Chatham streets. Get directions.
PARKING
A limited number of parking spaces are available behind the theater. There are also on-street parking spaces and parking lots near the theater. Use the map to view parking options.

Access:
The Cary has a Main Level and an Upper Lobby Level. All levels are accessible by elevator. Rooms on all levels, including the theater, are also accessible to patrons who use wheelchairs. Our facility also features ADA-approved signage, handrails and automatic door openers on public exterior doors.
Drop off & Parking:
Patrons with limited mobility may be dropped off in the Parking Lot between The Cary and Johnson’s Jewelers, located on the east side of the building. Handicapped parking is located in this lot.
Restrooms:
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms and water fountains are located on the main level of The Cary.
Theater Seating:
The Cary offers accessible seating in the Mezzanine and Balcony sections of the theater for patrons in wheelchairs, for patrons with mobility needs or for patrons with vision or hearing disabilities. In addition there are also seating options for guests with visual, hearing and mobility disabilities. Hearing Devices:
Our theater features an assisted listening system. Receivers with either headphones or hearing aid compatible induction loops amplify the sound from the stage and may be used from any seat. Please see the House Manager in the lobby before the performance with a photo ID to check out a free receiver (subject to availability).
Sign Language Interpretation:
The Cary can provide sign language interpretation for guests with hearing disabilities. We ask that requests for this service be made 30 days prior to the event. Please contact us for more information on events that offer sign language interpretation.
Audio Described Performances:
Audio Description services are provided upon request. Please contact us no later than two months prior to the performance for more information and performance options.
Service Animals:
Service animals are welcome inside The Cary and must remain on a leash or in a harness at all times. If you intend to bring a service animal to an event, please notify your ticket representative at the time of purchase so that an aisle seat may be reserved for you.
Large Print & Braille Programs:
Large print and Braille programs are available for patrons at many performances. We ask that requests for this service be made 30 days prior to the event.
Scripts:
For theatrical performances at The Cary, a copy of the script can be made available upon request one week prior to the performance date. All scripts must be returned to the front desk. Please contact Lani Simeona to request a copy.
THEATER DOORS
Theater doors typically open one half-hour prior to show time. Re-entry is allowed for events as long as the patron has his/her original ticket.
PATRON / GUEST SERVICES
Guest Services is handled by our Front Desk Staff at the The Cary, located in the lobby as you walk through the front door.
CONCESSIONS
Concessions for events at The Cary are provided by our partner coffee shop, Brew at The Cary Theater. Their menu includes a wide selection of coffee and tea, hot chocolate, sandwiches and breakfast treats. And, for events at The Cary – butter popcorn, kettle corn, movie candy soft drinks. Beer and wine are also available.
ATM
There are no ATMs located inside the The Cary. There are two ATMs withing walking distance. One is at the corner of Harrison Avenue and Chatham Streets at Fidelity Bank. Another ATM is located on the Town of Cary Campus at 228 Ambassador Loop, near the Page-Walker Art & History Center. ATM locations are noted on the parking map above.
RESTROOMS
Restrooms are located inside the venue on the first level behind the elevator. Restrooms are accessible for our guests with disabilities.
LOST & FOUND ITEMS
Lost and Found items are kept for 30 days. Please call (919) 462-2051 for details regarding lost items. Patrons who find items during an event are asked to drop the item off at the front desk.
