The 20th annual Oscar® Nominated Short Films theatrical release, presented by SHORTS, is coming to cinemas starting February 14, 2025. The release, only available in theaters, will contain all of the short films nominated in the categories of Best Live Action, Best Animated and Best Documentary short film. This is the only opportunity for audiences to watch all of the short film nominees in theaters before the 97th Academy Awards® ceremony on March 2, 2025.
Please Note – Oscar® Nominated Short Films may not be appropriate for audiences under the age of 14 due to gun violence, shootings, language, and animated nudity.

Magic Candies– Daisuke Nishio, 21 min., Japan (in Japanese)
In the Shadow of the Cypress – Hossein Molayemi and Shirin Sohani, 20 min., Iran (no dialogue)
Yuck! – Loïc Espuche, 13 min., France (in French)
The following films include nudity, and may not be appropriate for audiences under 14 years old.
Wander to Wonder – Nina Gantz, 13 min., Netherlands/Belgium/France/UK (in English)
Beautiful Men – Nicolas Keppens, 19 min., Belgium/France/Netherlands (in Flemish, Dutch, Turkish, and English)
If you choose WILL CALL Tickets, they may be picked up at The Cary Theater box office beginning one hour prior to the show.
If you choose MOBILE Tickets, please check your inbox for an email that reads “Thanks for your purchase!” From there you can access your tickets to the performance.
