Dan Rodriguez

with Jason Adamo (JUST ADDED!)

Music calls on roots, country and a bit of rock and roll

“Dan Rodriguez is …a performer who has made a definite mark in an era when it’s increasingly hard for performers to break through to that level..” – No Depression

If he’s singing about the struggle of parenting young children in “Poor Me” or extolling the joy of love in “25 Years” Dan Rodriguez’s music calls on roots, country and a bit of rock and roll to carry smart lyrics that connect with audiences. Based on a homestead in Minnesota, Dan is a self-described “whiskey & beer drinking, fishing & hunting loving, motorcycle riding, quality food eating, hippie sympathizing, people loving, husband & father who shares a life with my amazing wife and two adorable sons named Oak and Alder.”  We’re excited to bring him to Cary during this run, where he’s hitting up Jamin’ Java in Vienna VA and City Winery Boston.

The Wilder Flower

Tunes filled with harmony and some of the best fiddle, banjo and guitar pickin’

“One of our favorite new regional acts of this last year is this trio from Brevard. We love their blend of bluegrass, old-time, and folk stylings – the kind of representation of Appalachian roots music we cherish here at WNCW! It’s especially refreshing to hear such an authentic representation of these traditions coming out of Gen Z. Check out their striking three-part harmonies and virtuosity of guitar, fiddle, and banjo.” – Martin Anderson, WNCW

The Wilderflower flexes between folk, Americana, bluegrass, and Old-time tunes. Driven by three-part harmonies, featuring South Carolina/Western North Carolina-based Danielle Yother on guitar, Madeline Dierauf on fiddle, and Molly Johnson on banjo, this trio recently appeared at IBMA in Raleigh and is currently touring in support of their first album, If I Wait Anymore.  This all-ages show is filled with harmony and some of the best fiddle/banjo/guitar pickin’ you have seen in some time.
