The golden threads of pop and sultry notes and rhythms of jazz intertwine, creating an event that leaves you inspired, uplifted, and with a newfound appreciation for the timeless magic of music. Carrie’s renditions transcend genres, blending beloved pop classics, original compositions, and the mesmerizing allure of jazz, all brought to life by an ensemble of extraordinary talents. She covers songs from artists such as the Beatles, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, The Cure, Cyndi Lauper and more! A recent cancer survivor, Carrie weaves her own personal story of hope, encouraging listeners to tap their toes to the beat of their own syncopated rhythm, finding GOLD in even the darkest of places.

A portion of all ticket sales go to support the Helene Foundation, a non-profit based here in Raleigh that supports women in the Triangle undergoing cancer treatments.

Carrie Marshall, an accomplished vocalist, pianist and award-winning songwriter, has established herself as a versatile presence in the music world. She has performed at such notable events as the Democratic National Convention as well as several reputable theaters and jazz clubs across the Carolinas. Her vocals and arrangements weave through a tapestry of genres, including pop, jazz, blues, gospel and country. Also an actress and film composer, Carrie can be seen in the films “War Room” and “Changeover”, where she also won Best Supporting Actress and was nominated for Best Score (Love International Film Festival, Beverly Hills). Her recent release of the Dolly Parton classic, “Jolene”, recently won a Bronze Award for the Best Cover Song by WAM Indie Awards in November of 2023.
