A performer who has made a definite mark in an era when it’s increasingly hard for performers to break through to that level.
– NO DEPRESSION
Singer/song writer Dan Rodriguez brings his guitar and his songs about life and love to the Cary Theater. Rodriguez grew up in Detroit and moved to Minneapolis at age 18 to study music. He describes himself as a “whiskey and beer drinking, fishing and hunting loving, motorcycle riding, quality food eating, hippie sympathizing, people loving, husband and father.”
In 2014, Budweiser released its “Friends Are Waiting” commercial campaign featuring Rodriguez singing his song “When You Come Home.” It premiered during the Super Bowl and began his breakthrough to the mainstream. His current music reflects on life, love, and family with a joyous appreciation and a wry sense of humor.
