The Triangle Filmmaking Community is joining with The Cary to present the Motion for Pictures Screening Series. What do a comedy western, an audition tape, and a Korean space adventure have in common?  They’re all featured in this month’s MOTION FOR PICTURES screening!  We’ve scoured the globe to bring you seven award-winning short films that are guaranteed to make you think, gasp, and fall on the floor laughing.  Help us pick the winner of the Audience Choice Award by voting for your favorite!  The fun starts at 7pm. Don’t miss the most diverse, exciting lineup of films in the world!   “SCENE” Jim McQuaid (North Carolina) Cecilia’s ex-boyfriend visits her apartment to record audition videos during her last year in LA. Unfortunately, rejection is taking its toll on her.   EMERALD ICE Jesseca Ynez Simmons (California) A cinematic journey exploring the mind of the American poet Diane Wakoski.   JOHNNY EXPRESS WOO Kyungmin (Korea)  A space delivery courier has trouble finding the recipient of a package.   NOBODY DIES HERE Simon Panay (France) Perma gold mine, Benin. And a few of them say that here, nobody dies.   TRIUMPH OF TIME Itay Cohen (Israel) When Alex gets a message from the future, he is convinced it contains a hidden message. Obsessed, he neglects his wife at an important moment in her life, pushing her into the arms of another man.   HE TOOK HIS SKIN OFF FOR ME Ben Aston (England) The story of a man who takes his skin off for his girlfriend, and why it probably wasn’t the best idea…   THE GUNFIGHTER Eric Kissack (California) A weary gunfighter walks into a bar, looking for a drink. What he finds instead is a building full of raunchy people, and an audible, bloodthirsty narrator. *Some films contain profanity and may not be suited for younger viewers.
