Comedy with Tom McTiernan and Matty Litwack, Presented by Town of Cary

Wednesday, September 22, 2021
Show | 3:09pm
Tom McTiernan is one of eight children, and grew up in the suburbs of New York City. Being a product of such a multi-cultural and media driven area of the country can lead to many unanswered questions. Tom’s quest to find those answers has pointed to many laughs and more questions. While traveling around the country performing at some of the best comedy clubs, Tom can also be seen in theatres opening for the likes of Tom Jones, Engelbert Humperdinck, and Joy Behar, to name a few, and was a frequent opener for the late John Pinette. Matty Litwack is a young comic with a sharp wit and a silly face. He was once a graduate student studying physics, completing 30% of a PhD (basically just a P) before dropping out to pursue comedy as a career. Matty is often described as self-deprecating and silly, with a hilarious storytelling style. He regularly features at comedy clubs such as the DC Improv, and has performed at festivals such as the Limestone Festival and the Bentzen Ball. In 2014, Matty was a finalist in the Boston Comedy Festival and was the winner of the Devil Cup in NYC. Matty has also appeared on the TV show “Laughs” on Fox. Will Call tickets may be picked up at The Cary starting one hour prior to the performance.
