Boom for Real: The Late Teenage Years of Jean-Michel Basquiat is a 2017 documentary film that explores the life of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat before he became famous. The film examines how the people, places, and movements of New York City in the 1970s and 1980s shaped Basquiat’s art and vision.
