In partnership with the Visual Arts program at the Cary Theater.
In this art activity based on Michelangelo, we will learn about his fresco painting technique, focusing on his work in the Sistine Chapel. We’ll briefly discuss fresco painting and then create our own mini frescos using plaster-coated surfaces and colorful pigments. You may draw your own design or use one of the designs prepared for you—no experience required. Materials provided.
