Celebrate the contributions of African Americans to our community, nation and world. This year’s theme is Unsung Titans of the ‘70s & ‘80s, and we will take a fun trip back in time to see how some of these artists influenced our culture.

A Russian American ballet dancer’s airplane is forced to land in USSR, where he’s “repatriated”. He stays with an American man married to a Russian. Will the American help him flee USSR?

 

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan – Feb. 9 & 12

With the assistance of the Enterprise crew, Admiral Kirk must stop an old nemesis, Khan Noonien Singh, from using the life-generating Genesis Device as the ultimate weapon.

 

Hollywood Shuffle – Feb. 23 & 26

An actor limited to stereotypical roles because of his ethnicity, dreams of making it big as a highly respected performer. As he makes his rounds, the film takes a satiric look at African American actors in Hollywood.
