COVID-19 Policies and Procedures for
Old North State Storytelling Festival
These procedures are required by the North Carolina Storytelling Guild and may not reflect other protocols required by The Cary Theater or The Town of Cary.
To reduce exposure to COVID-19 for patrons, artists, staff, and volunteers, the Old North State Storytelling Festival is taking every precaution. We want to make it safe for you to return to our live performance this year.
You must indicate you will follow these policies before purchasing your ticket for the live performances at the Cary Theater. (Online only tickets are also available)
Masks are required for all staff, performers, patrons, and visitors at the Festival regardless of vaccination status.
All staff, and patrons must show:
Proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after final dose)
Proof of a negative lab-conducted COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the performance.
We suggest that you plan extra time prior to each performance to allow for check-in at the door. Please make sure your guests are aware of these policies as they apply to all attendees. Only masked guests with the required proof of vaccination or negative test can enter the venue.
Refunds: Tickets will be refunded for performances that are rescheduled, canceled, or if you are feeling unwell the day of the show.
