The 4th annual Old North State Storytelling Festival – WITH MUSIC!

FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 04, 2022 & SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 05

This ALL WEEKEND ticket package includes all four Showcase performances on Friday and Saturday. Individual Showcase tickets are also available.

Featuring Josh Goforth, Bryan McDowell, Janice Curtis Greene, Ray Christian, Noa Baum, Kanute Rarey, Sherry Lovett, Becky Stone, John Thomas Fowler, and Larry Pearlman as our emcee. Experience the power of live storytelling. Acclaimed storytellers and musicians will present hours of stories and music to entertain and warm your heart, co-sponsored by the Town of Cary and the North Carolina Storytelling Guild.

Showcase 1: Friday, November 4, 7-9 p.m.

Runtime: 2 hrs.

Featuring Grammy-nominated songwriter Josh Goforth and multi-instrumentalist Bryan McDowell sharing stories and music rooted in Appalachia with storytellers Noa Boaum, Ray Christian, and Janice Curtis Greene.

Showcase 2:  Saturday, November 5, 10-11:30 a.m.

Runtime: 1.5 hrs.

A morning showcase for families with children and the young-at-heart with Janice Curtis Greene, Noa Baum, and Josh Goforth with Bryan McDowell. Kids 12 & under are free!

Showcase 3:  Saturday, November 5, 1:30-5:30 p.m.

Runtime: 4 hrs.

Drop by for an hour or the whole afternoon for stories and music by Ray Christian, John Thomas Fowler, Noa Baum, Sherry Lovett, Becky Stone, Kanute Rarey, Janice Curtis Greene, and Josh Goforth with Bryan McDowell.

Showcase 4: Saturday, November 5, 7-9 p.m.

Runtime: 2 hrs.

Wrap up the weekend with a final performance featuring stories and music from Noa Baum, Ray Christian, Janice Curtis Greene and Josh Goforth with Bryan McDowell. More info here.
