Beyond: The Film Festival – Zombiepalooza! Are You Shooting a Zombie Film or Just Shooting Zombies?

June 22

10:00 am

12.00

This workshop is presented at the Page-Walker Arts & History Center by Peyote Perryman.

It’s a cherished genre and one that every first-time filmmaker likes to sink their teeth into. The Zombie film offers all the setting you need for a great drama, comedy or horror film and sometimes it can be all three at the same time! Join us for in in-depth discussion on how to attack the script and cut the scenes into bite-sized chunks that you can handle with a minimal crew. The focus will be on storytelling and will include some technical tips on how to achieve those over-the-top Zombie deaths. All skill levels will find something to gain from this workshop – not the least will be a better appreciation for what goes into creating short films.

This workshop is located at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center.

Will call tickets may be picked up at The Cary Box Office beginning one hour prior to the movie.

For assistance with accessible seating requests at The Cary Theater after 3pm on Friday and throughout the weekend, please contact the general box office at 919-462-2055, and/or reach out to the House Manager beginning one hour prior to the performance.
